The Maclaren Triumph Baby stroller is the perfect basic all around pushchair – it’s compact, lightweight, easy to use, sturdy, affordable, comfortable, and stylish. Perfect for traveling, commuting, shopping and daily use. It’s definitely one of the best value baby pushchairs around.

Maclaren Triumph Baby stroller: The Pros
The Maclaren Triumph is suitable from 3 months onwards until about 3 years of age. Maclaren Baby Pushchairs have a reputation for being durable – many parents who own it say they’ve had it for years and they are able to use it for their younger kids, too.

The Triumph has two ergonomic, foam encased handle bars. The back of the seat can be easily reclined in 3 positions. It’s very compact when folded so you’ll have no problem storing it in the boot of a medium sized car.

Weighing only 5 kg, the Triumph is one of the lightest buggies around. It’s actually the second smallest Maclaren pushchair (the Volo is the smallest and most basic), but offer slightly more options compared to the Volo. So if you loved everything we said about the Maclaren Volo but would like a baby pushchair with more features then the Triumph is the answer.

The Maclaren Triumph is very easy to fold and unfold with one hand (watch the video demo). Very handy when you’re out and about or when you are in a hurry.

A great thing about the Triumph is that the seat comes off and is machine washable. The hood is easy to clean too – just wipe it off with a wet sponge and you’re good to go. Speaking of the hood, it’s very stylish and super easy to attach and detach from the buggy.

Other Pros worthy to note:

• It’s got a 5 point harness that’s easy to do and undo, but watch your fingers when clipping it in
• Carry strap makes it easy to carry
• Good sized basket underneath
• Rain cover easy to remove and completely cover the child’s feet, too.
• 2 front lockable swivel wheels
• Self-clipping safety catch

Maclaren Triumph Pushchair: The Cons
The leg rest of the Triumph is not adjustable, and neither are the handle bars.

It’s not suitable from birth, and the recommended age for it is from 3 months old but we think it’s really best for babies at least 6 months of age and for toddlers who can sit up properly.

Perhaps the worst disappointment you will have from the Triumph is the brakes. About 3 parents we’ve spoken to about the Triumph is that the brakes are rather hard to engage that sometimes they have to bend down to put it on or off because it’s a lever that goes side to side rather than a pedal you can press with one foot. But you do get used to it after a while

Another minor downside is the storage space. While the storage space is of good size, it can be difficult to get to it when your baby is sleeping or when the seat is set to a reclining position.

Conclusion

The Maclaren Triumph Baby Pushchair is a great nippy little buggy great for daily use and perfect for city dwellers, holiday makers and for any parent who wants a baby pushchair that’s lightweight, inexpensive, super easy to use, and trendy. It may not come with bells and whistles but this Maclaren baby stroller does triumph over many other baby pushchairs out there that cost 3 to 5 times as much!
