Chicco Multiway: My Review

When my husband and I had our first baby girl we planned to buy a baby pushchair that will make our baby comfortable while she was asleep and one that we’ll also find convenient. We were so confused in finding one because there were a lot of brands to choose from. We ended up buying a cheap, non branded baby pushchair from an online retailer. It was too big to carry around anywhere and was too flimsy and got destroyed by day to day wear and tear. Oh it was absolutely Dreadful…!

After just a 5 months we were on the market again for a new pushchair, so this time I made a point to really investigate the product and decided to buy a reliable brand. In the end, we settled for a Chicco Multiway baby stroller because of the favourable reviews.

The Chicco Multiway is a sporty looking stroller with a lightweight aluminum frame making the stroller stable and easy to push. It feels safe to use because it feels solid and strong. It’s got 4 sets of big wheels designed to cope for off road use, so it’s a good choice for parents like me who like having a good stroll outdoors. I’ve used it on practically any surface – gravel, sand, snow, grass – and it performed really well.

The Chicco Multiway baby stroller is suitable from birth up to three years of age (15 kg). It has a comfortable padded seat and the backrest reclines fully with one hand so your sleeping baby won’t be disturbed. It also comes complete with a hood that becomes a sun canopy with anti-UV ray protection.

The Chicco Multiway is also easy to maneoeuver around tight corners because of its perfect engineered design and big all terrain wheels.

It comes with ergonomic handles with soft non-slip grips and includes a carry handle when closed so I find it convenient enough for public transport use or when I need to carry it up or down flights of stairs.

It is easy to lift in and out of the car. Although, sometimes you have to remove the front wheels, but this is very easy to do and reverse.

The summer hood is very practical and functional. You can convert it to a sun canopy and it has an anti-UV protection, too. The fleece footmuff can also function as a leg cover, the raincover is included, and there’s a feeding bottle holder and a good sized storage basket.

• storage basket not accessible when chair is fully reclined.
• the Multiway is long even when folded, so people who drive cars with small boots may struggle to fit it in their boot.
• the handle height is not adjustable, which isn’t good for couples with huge height difference.

Conclusion

I would happily recommend the Multiway to parents with newborns who wants a functional, practical off-roader buggy that is also light and convenient to carry around if needed be. Chicco Multiway is a great buggy with many useful features but it doesn’t come at such a high price.
