This Maclaren baby pushchair is suitable for 3+ month-old children to toddlers weighing up to 15 kg (3 to 4 years old). It’s a basic pushchair stroller that will suit those with limited storage space.

The hood tilts for added sun protection and has got a UV protective viewing window and can be adjusted. It also has a storage pocket where you can put small things like your purse or house keys. The raincover is zipped onto the hood and goes all the way down underneath the stroller.

The back support reclines in 4 positions, and is easy enough to prop up or down.

The stroller has the usual safety features typical of Maclaren Pushchairs, like a sturdy, aeronautical-quality aluminum frame, 5-point adjustable harness, lockable front swivel wheels, reflective strips for those gloomy British days, ergonomic padded handles, a removable washable seat cover, adjustable leg rest and calf support, mesh shopping basket, and foot brakes that are simple to put on or off.

The umbrella folding mechanism of the stroller is so easy you can do it with one hand. When folded, it’s only 27 x 104 x 32 cm so it’s quite compact. It weighs about 5.5kg without hood, basket or raincover so you can imagine how light it is to push, steer and even carry around or up and and down stairs.

Maclaren Quest Sport: The Cons
The handles of this Maclaren stroller, although not adjustable, are ergonomically optimized and foam insulated.

The Quest Sport, although Sporty looking, is not an all terrain pushchair so if you know you’re going to use it on rougher surfaces like gravel, cobbles and country roads very often, be aware that the Maclaren Quest’s small wheels are not made for that sort of use.

Bugaboo Bee Baby Stroller in Pink

Before I set my eyes on the Bugaboo Bee I didn’t think it was possible to fall head over heels in love with a stroller – and at first sight, at that! But then again I’m a certified pramaholic so I should really have seen it coming!

I could still remember how I got so nervous trying it out because I was dreading the possibility of it “breaking my heart”. What if it was all looks and no substance? What if it wasn’t as reliable as it looked? What if using it wasn’t as easy or pleasurable as a dance in the park as the advert portrayed? Well, only one way to find out…

Bugaboo Bee Travel System: The Pros
When I first tested it at the shop I had to keep telling myself to remain rational (I had a feeling that there was a huge possibility that regardless of the test “outcome” I was still going to buy it!). I couldn’t help myself- t’was a jaw-dropping eye candy. Like a puppy so cute and adorable, you wanna steal it from the mother and take it home with you and wish it wouldn’t ever grow up and change.

So yes, I bought it!

That was about 3 months ago, so I’ve had enough time to evaluate it. And yes, I still love it just as much as the first time I set eyes on it.

It’s so gorgeous that it turned heads. Sometimes I even felt disappointed for people noticing the buggy first, before my li’l Natalie! Lol! It’s obviously been designed for the fashionistas who’d willingly sacrifice practicality and functionality over looks, but thankfully the Bee actually delivered well over my expectations.

One of the best thing about it is that it’s a dream to push. Rounding corners, getting it over kerbs, getting on and off the bus, turning it in tight spaces… all It’s so easy to manoeuvre that I can even do it with one hand sometimes.

A really handy feature is the reversible seat, which was a huge plus for me. I was due in about a week when I got the Bee so I wanted a travel system that would let me have my baby facing me during the first 3 months.

Another great feature is the bright coloured hood that’s also washable. Even though mine suffered a lot of spillages it hadn’t stained (so far!), so I really appreciate that because the hood is one of the biggest factors that makes up its overall look.

The seat recline has 4 positions, but it doesn’t recline to more than 150 degrees so even though it is suitable for newborn, it’s actually not the ideal position for them. That’s why I bought it with a car seat.

I think the Bee is compatible with many car seats, but I use the Maxi Cosi cabriofix car seat with it which works great. It’s so easy to attach and detach.

I love the fact that it’s teensy so have no trouble putting it in the boot with enough room for other things, too.

I think it weighs about 8.5 kg, which is relatively light for a travel system. I have no trouble carrying it when I need to, but then again I’m fairly fit so someone else might find it quite bothersome.

The height adjustable handle bar goes from 89 cm to 107 cm, so in my estimate people from 5′2″ to well over 6 foot tall will be able to find a comfortable handle height for themselves. I’m actually 5′7″ and my darling hubby is 6′2″ and we both find the Bee’s handles comfy enough.

The tyres are rubberized with spring suspension, making what could have been bumpy ride like a walk in the clouds. It’s not an all terrain though, so I wouldn’t use it on the country side too often.

Many parents complained about the brakes in reviews, but Bugaboo had already fixed the issue now. Mine definitely works and I had no problem with it whatsoever.

Bugaboo Bee: The Cons
Although I’m fairly in love with the Bee, I have identified several factors that for our purposes here may need highlighting:

As I mentioned earlier it doesn’t lie fully flat which is best for newborns. So my recommendation is to get it with a suitable car seat.

The storage basket is hard to access, and can only be accessed from the front which is a real bummer.

The seat is narrow and there’s little headroom that it’s very easy to outgrow it. Taller and bigger children will easily and quickly outgrow it. My Big Ben is now 3 years old and he could barely get his head in the hood.

Lastly, it is expensive (about £420 a pop) but that’s part of what makes it iconic and precious, i guess!

Conclusion

Yes, I would definitely recommend it to parents who would like a trendy, lightweight, versatile, easy to use city buggy that will fit anywhere. It’s pricey, but the Bugaboo Bee is a style icon so worth the price!

Compared to other Travel Systems, the Trio For Me is relatively lighter and more compact.

Stroller

The Stroller is suitable from birth until 15 kg (about 3 or 4 years old) and includes a footmuff, hood and reversible seat

The stroller’s seat unit is well padded and comfortable for your little one, and it is also reversible so you can have your child facing you or towards the direction of travel. It has an adjustable leg support and and an adjustable 5 point harness with full body support.

The back rest can easily be adjusted to 4 positions smoothly even with one hand, because all it involves is pressing a button and then either pulling down or pushing up the back support.

The big, adjustable hood has a see-through part making it light and airy during hot summer days or when you’re holidaying abroad.

It’s easy to fold and unfold, and you can fold it easily even with seat on – but much easier to fold it with seat on if the seat is facing you.

Although the handle height is not adjustable, the angles of the handles can be adjusted in unique ways. The handle can be adjusted from a single handle bar to a double handle bar by removing the middle part that joins the 2 handles together. The angle of the handle bars can be adjusted to various positions, too. When folded, you can also make the length of the pushchair shorter by adjusting the length of the handlebars.

Other Pros worthy to note about the Stroller:

• It’s easy to push even on rougher surfaces.

Car Seat

The car seat is suitable from birth to 13 kg and comes with a base. It is suitable to use from birth until about 9-12 months.

The car seat is very sturdy, but the most brilliant thing about it is that it’s incredibly easy to attach and remove. It has a 3 point adjustable padded harness, a hood, and removable, washable covers.

Carrycot

The carrycot can be used from birth up until about 6 months. It makes a pram or travel system when fitted on to the chassis.

It’s got a hood with air flow opening and sun visor, front apron, fully padded inside with mattress and removable covers. There is a round disc at the bottom of the carry cot that you can use to adjust the back rest. This just gives your baby the option to slightly sit higher as they get older and older. It’s got a one piece adjustable handle, too.
Chicco Trio for Me: The Cons

Because of the many things that come with it, you can already imagine how much storage space you will need to fit all these in to your storage space or boot. Also it can be quite heavy, but as we said it’s relatively light for a travel system.

The only other fault we can say about it is that although the shopping basket is roomy, it is difficult to access because of the cross bars which act as supporting mechanism for the chassis.

Conclusion

A common let-down of travel systems is that by trying to be everything (a pram, a stroller, a car seat, etc.) they often end up being great at very little. Not so with the Trio For Me. It has successfully achieved being an all-around system that can cater perfectly to your newborn’s transporting needs up until they are old enough to outgrow it. The Trio For Me is a big hit among parents, some of whom mentioned that they have used the same pushchair for their second and even third child.

The Loola Up Pushchair is the next model up from the Loola model, hence the name. They added a few improvements for extra comfort, control and style, giving maximum comfort for your baby.

The height of the single-piece handle bar is easily adjustable to 3 positions and is designed to make it easier for the pusher to get the push chair on and off pavements, so that even doing it single-handed is easy.

The Loola Up may be little, but this baby stroller has several features, some of which are unique and patented:

1. The seat cover is reversible, giving you 2 colours without having to buy 2 seat covers.
2. It has the patented 3D folding to make it easy to fold and unfold.
3. The seat itself can be made to face toward the pusher or toward the direction of travel. If your child is 6 months or under it’s best to keep them facing you as this helps increase their communication skills and seeing your face also gives them comfort. However when they are older they prefer to see the outside world and this also provides a higher mental stimulation.
4. The front wheels are lockable swivel wheels, but instead of having to reach down every time you want to lock them, you just slide the patented Modulo Drive (R) control on the side of the chassis and viola – your swivel wheels are now locked! No more fiddling with the wheels themselves or risking to get your hands dirty. (Speaking of which, remember to lock the swivel wheels first before folding)
5. Another great feature of the Loola Up is the all round suspensions (yes, it has suspension on both the front and rear wheels). As you will see in the video, it has a unique suspension that you can set to either 1 or 2 (set it to 2 for heavier kids).
6. Yet another unique feature of the Loola Up is that the raincover is zipped onto the hood instead of going over the hood. This may take a bit of getting used to, but in our opinion it’s quite good because your rain cover is not as big so you won’t need as much space when you unfold it or store it in your bag.

The under carriage storage is bigger than most pushchairs but some parents claim that things can fall out of it relatively easily.

Some parents find the bend in the middle of the handle bar a bit annoying, but when I’ve tried it I didn’t find it bothersome at all. However I can understand why some parents find it fiddly.

One of the most common complaints for the Loola when it first came out was that its harness wasn’t long enough. I’ve heard that the manufacturer had taken action on this already and had this issue fixed.

Lastly, the Loola Up is not an off-road buggy so if you plan to use it often on rough terrains, remember that it’s not meant for this, that’s why it’s mainly marketed towards people living in the city. If you live in the countryside, consider buying 3 Wheeler Pushchairs or all-terrain pushchairs instead.
Conclusion

The Loola Up has some unusual accessories that are not found on other pushchair models.For such a little pushchair, it does pack on a punch when it comes to useful and functional features. It also looks great, very adjustable, comfortable, easy to use and is perfect for city dwellers.

Because the You2 Twin is a Double Pushchair, it will be riddled with one fault: not being versatile. So if this is your first time to consider twin pushchairs, expect now that you will not find many with adjustable components. You 2 has non-adjustable handles, non-reversible seats, and you won’t be able to fit it with car seats. But then again, most twin pushchairs are limited in this way.

The only real faults we can come up with is that it can’t be folded with a single hand and that you need 2 hands to recline the seat positions. Apart from that, this pushchair poses no major issues.

Of course, with it being a twin pushchair, if you live in an upstairs flat you might struggle taking this pushchair up and down the stairs particularly if your stairs are narrow.
Conclusion

The Cosatto You 2 Twin Pushchair is one of those pushchairs that consistently got raving reviews from parents who bought them.
